The Snow Killings: Inside the Oakland County Child Killer Investigation

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Saline District Library
SDL Zoom

Event Details

Between February, 1976, to March, 1977, a child predator abducted four children in Oakland County. Each of them were held for days before their still-warm bodies were dumped in the snow near public roadsides. The Oakland County Child Murders spawned panic across southeast Michigan, triggering the most extensive manhunt in U.S. history. Join author and veteran reporter Marney Rich Keenan for a discussion of her book The Snow Killings: Inside the Oakland County Child Killer Investigation, an inside look at the investigation of the still-unsolved murders, and the evidence of a decades-long coverup of malfeasance and obstruction that has denied justice for the victims.
Keenan is an award-winning reporter and columnist, recently retired after 26 years with The Detroit News
